MINISTRIES...

At Life Cathedral we love the Lord and His people. Therefore we are an involved ministry. We extend a warm welcome to you to become involved in the ministry of Life Cathedral. Visit us, let us minister to you and become a part of our ministry. "It is in giving, that we receive."

To our Life Cathedral members and many friends who attend, we say thank you. To those who minister with us, we want you to know that we deeply appreciate your giving as unto the Lord. Following are some of the ways we minister to you and those you love.

Sunday School Department:

The Sunday School Department of Life Cathedral is committed to the development of our children, to make powerfully anointed saints of God, equipping them with the right tools to make a difference in their world. It is the goal of every staff member to provide a safe, comfortable, and effective learning environment for each student. Classes ranging from nursery to seniors, individual classes for boys and girls, and special classes for the mentally and physically handicapped, are provided enabling our church to reach everyone regardless of who you are.

Youth Department:

The Youth of Life Cathedral are active in their local community and around the world. Having raised funds to build many churches in Thailand, India, and South America, our young people have a burden for souls no matter where they may be. Here at home they have participated in providing food for the less fortunate, gifts for underprivileged children at Christmas, and numerous neighborhood cleanup projects. Youth services are held weekly and are jam packed with worship, activities, and powerful ministries targeted for this generation. Our young people are actively involved in their local schools and colleges, striving to reach their friends for Christ.

Singles Ministry:

The Singles Ministry is focused on those who have lost their spouse or may have not yet found that special someone. Periodically, activities are planned to promote fellowship among the singles and to provide times of encouragement and friendship.

Video Ministry:

Every service at the Cathedral is captured in audio and video format. These are available anytime and have been used in nursing homes, homes of shut-ins, and are powerful witnessing tools.

Discipleship:

Discipleship classes are provided for those who are new to the Faith. Classes are provided weekly to educate and enlighten those who have just started their walk with the Lord. At the end of every 8 week discipleship session, a diploma is given and these new members are encouraged to become an active participant in some area of Life Cathedral.

Hospital Visitation:

Several husband and wife teams make frequent visits to area hospitals to encourage and fellowship with those who have been admitted to supervised care. These teams are concerned with the needs and wishes of families in these times of hardship and wish to serve in whatever capacity they can to ease their hearts and minds.

Outreach Ministry:

Many outreach tools are used to spread the Gospel. These include Home Bible Studies, Jail Ministry, and the Shepherd's Staff.

Home Bible Studies:

These are provided in the privacy of one's home and are used as a tool to reach those who may have questions and strengthen their desire to give Jesus Christ a try. Many different studies are available at no cost.

Jail Ministry:

This ministry is provided for those who are in area correctional facilities. Weekly visits are scheduled where inmates are encouraged to worship God and make a decision to live for Him. We understand that mistakes have been made but we also know that we serve a God that can forgive any sin, make life worth living again, and give life eternal through Jesus Christ, our precious Lord and Saviour.

Shepherd's Staff:

This ministry focuses on reaching those that have fallen away from the fold. Just as the ancient shepherd used his staff to retrieve those sheep that had strayed, so we reach out to those who may have lost their way in the course of life, restoring them to faith in Jesus Christ.
